At Clasify, we stand behind the quality of our platform and genuinely want every institute to have a positive experience. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be requested and processed. We encourage you to read this carefully before making a purchase.
By subscribing to any Clasify plan, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this policy.
General Approach.We understand that every institute's situation is different. Our goal is to be fair, transparent, and practical — not to hide behind fine print. If something has gone wrong on our end, we will make it right. If you have concerns about your subscription, we encourage you to reach out to us before requesting a refund — most issues can be resolved quickly.Refund requests can be submitted at: support@clasify.live
Subscription Plans — Refund Eligibility.Clasify offers monthly and annual subscription plans. The following refund terms apply:
- Monthly Plans:Refund requests submitted within 7 days of the billing date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basisIf the platform has not been actively used during this period, a full refund will be issuedIf the platform has been used, a partial refund may be considered at our discretionNo refunds will be issued after 7 days from the billing date for monthly plans
- Annual Plans:Test responses, scores, and performance data from student assessmentsUsage logs, session data, and feature interaction patternsDevice type, browser, and IP address for security and troubleshooting
- Information from Students:Refund requests submitted within 14 days of the initial payment date are eligible for a full refund, provided the platform has not been substantially usedAfter 14 days, refunds will not be issued for the remaining unused period of an annual planIn exceptional circumstances — such as a verified technical failure on Clasify's part that rendered the platform unusable — a pro-rated refund for the unused period may be considered
Free Trial.Clasify offers a free trial to new institutes with no payment required upfront. Since no charges are made during the trial period, refund requests are not applicable to free trial usage.
If you are charged in error at the end of a trial period, please contact us within 7 days and we will issue a full refund without question.
Non-Refundable Situations.The following situations are not eligible for a refund:
- Change of mind after actively using the platform beyond the refund window
- Failure to cancel the subscription before the next billing cycle
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content that was published without institute review (as outlined in our Terms & Conditions)
- Downgrade requests mid-cycle — these take effect from the next billing period
- Partial use of features included in a plan
- Disruptions caused by the institute's own internet connectivity, devices, or infrastructure
- Suspension or termination of accounts due to violation of our Terms & Conditions
Custom & Enterprise Plans.Institutes on Custom or Enterprise plans are governed by a separate commercial agreement. Refund terms for these plans are defined in the individual contract signed at the time of onboarding.
If no separate refund clause exists in your contract, the standard annual plan refund policy applies.
Platform Downtime & Service Failures.Clasify targets 99.9% uptime. In the rare event of extended platform downtime or a significant service failure caused by Clasify:
- Downtime of less than 24 hours in a billing cycle will not qualify for a refund
- Downtime exceeding 24 continuous hours due to a fault on our end will be eligible for a pro-rated credit or partial refund for the affected period
- Scheduled maintenance communicated in advance does not qualify as downtime for refund purposes
Credits issued for downtime will be applied to your next billing cycle. Cash refunds for downtime are issued only in exceptional cases at our discretion.
How to Request a Refund.To submit a refund request, please follow these steps:
- Email us at support@clasify.live with the subject line: 'Refund Request — [Your Institute Name]'
- Include your registered email address, plan name, payment date, and reason for the refund request
- Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
- Refund decisions will be communicated within 7 business days of receiving your request
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Cancellation Policy.You may cancel your Clasify subscription at any time from your account settings or by writing to us at support@clasify.live.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
- You will continue to have full access to the platform until the end of the paid period
- Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund — refund eligibility is governed by the terms above
- Upon cancellation, your institute data will be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion
We recommend exporting your data before your subscription ends if you wish to retain records.
Disputes.If you believe a charge was made in error or you are unsatisfied with our refund decision, please write to us at support@clasify.live. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly.
If a resolution cannot be reached directly, disputes will be handled in accordance with the Governing Law clause in our Terms & Conditions — subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
Changes to This Policy.Clasify reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated to institute administrators via email or an in-platform notice at least 14 days before they take effect. The most current version of this policy will always be available at clasify.live/refund-policy.
