Information We Collect.We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services. This includes:

• Information Provided by Institutes:Institute name, admin contact details (email & phone number), and billing information during account registrationEducator and staff profiles created within the platformQuestion banks, test content, and course materials uploaded by the instituteStudent data entered or imported by the institute (names, enrollment IDs, batch information)
• Information Generated During Use:Test responses, scores, and performance data from student assessmentsUsage logs, session data, and feature interaction patternsDevice type, browser, and IP address for security and troubleshooting
• Information from Students:Students access the platform through their institute. We collect only the information required to administer tests — such as answers submitted, time taken, and scores. We do not collect personal information from students beyond what is necessary for assessment delivery, though students have an option to update their personal details like – Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, Phone Number, Parents Contact Information etc.

How We Use Your Information.We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services. This includes:

• To create and manage your institute's account and user profiles
• To deliver online assessments, CBT exams, and test series
• To generate performance reports and analytics for educators and students
• To power AI features such as question generation and doubt solving
• To provide technical support and respond to queries
• To send important service updates, billing notices, and security alerts
• To improve our platform based on usage patterns and feedback

We do not use your data for advertising purposes without your persmission, and we do not sell your data to third parties — ever.

AI-Powered Features.Clasify uses artificial intelligence to help institutes generate questions, evaluate answers, and provide student insights. When you use AI features:

• Your content inputs (such as topics or uploaded PDFs) are processed to generate questions or solutions
• AI-generated outputs are always reviewed and controlled by the institute before being published
• We do not use your institute's content to train external AI models without your explicit consent

Data Sharing.We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• With trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting and payment processors) who are contractually bound to protect your data
• When required by law, court order, or government authority
• In the event of a merger or acquisition, where your data would remain protected under equivalent terms

All third-party partners we work with are vetted for data protection compliance.

Data Storage & Security.Your data is stored securely on cloud infrastructure with the following protections in place:

• Role-based access control so only authorised users can access institute data

Data Retention.We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you close your account:

• Institute and educator data is deleted within 90 days of account closure
• Student assessment data may be retained for up to 6 months for compliance and dispute resolution purposes, after which it is permanently deleted
• You may request early deletion of your data by contacting us at support@clasify.live

Your Rights.As a Clasify user, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about your institute or account
• Request corrections to inaccurate or outdated informatio
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time
• Export your data in a standard format upon request

Cookies.Clasify uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is being used. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some platform functionality.

Children's Privacy.Clasify is designed for use by educational institutes. Student accounts are created and managed by the institute or us — not directly by students or parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 outside of the institute's supervision. Institutes are responsible for ensuring appropriate consent is obtained from parents or guardians where required by local law.

Changes to This Policy.We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services evolve. When we make significant changes, we will notify institute admins via email or an in-platform notice. The updated policy will always be available at clasify.live/privacy-policy.Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
